In order to break up the gameplay there is a mode called Challenges which include specific scenarios where it puts your Blokus skills to the test. Even on casual, halfway through the tournament the difficulty seems to jump quite a bit. ![]() There are three settings for the tournament: kid, casual and master. You'll play against 16 different computer opponents, even a virtual Bernard Tavitian. Joining the World Tour allows you to participate in 10 tournaments as you travel around the world showing off your Blokus skills. Depending on what level you're playing at, it's not giving you the best options but it's handy when your opponents are already out of moves and you're just trying to get rid of your last pieces. One click on it will let you know what areas to look for, if you click again it shows you the areas where you can't play a piece, and finally it gives you an option. There is also a progressive hint system in case you get stuck. Blokus World Tour is a great way for beginners to learn as it has a useful help system to let you know when you've incorrectly placed a piece.
